Generally speaking, when you think of the definition of the word "coach", sports teams
are what jump into your mind. The role of a Life
Coach is very similiar.
A Life
Coach partners with individuals or groups to assist in goal achievement and/or conquering related specific challenges. As
"A Life Coach in Blue Jeans" I take the easiest approach I can find to give you customized solutions for your challenges.
You can "meet" with a life coach through several communication methods such as telephone
conferences, emails or personal face-to-face appointments in a casual or professional environment. You can be coached
on your lunch hour or over coffee!
This
allows you to be in close range or at a long distance and still achieve your goals.
Coaching programs should be customized to the individual needs of
one person, small groups or classes and pastoral/business staff.
These programs are available in both
shorter "light touch" segments (as few as one session/class) or long term sessions.
Some examples of when you might consider
hiring a Life Coach could be:
As a one
time encouragement for a ladies group around a particular subject (motherhood, self esteem, being single, being married, kid
trials, etc).
For a Group Goal Orientation which might include defining roles, leadership attributes or
the development of an action plan for a project.
Individual Goal Actualization aids - starting,
continuing and celebrating a victory around a particular personal aspiration or challenge.
Utilizing Group/Individual
Skill Set Practices to allow people within a group to further develop skills in an applied area such as communication, relationships
or accountability.
Coaching subjects are open to your needs!
